Our service center Waelzholz Tempracciaio S.r.l. was founded in July 2025 through the merger of Waelzholz Italia (formerly Theis Italia, founded in 1996) and Tempracciaio (founded in 1959). The site is located in Caronno Pertusella, near Milan, Italy, and delivers an average of 4,500 tons of cold rolled steel strip annually.

In addition to our wide range of cold rolled steel strip grades for different applications, our 41 employees at Waelzholz Tempracciaio offer a broad portfolio of services. For instance, we can customize the surfaces and edges to meet specific customer requirements, for example machining the edges of the strip. We can also supply cut-to-length material instead of coils upon request. And finally, all of our steel materials are cut to the final width requested by the customer.
In addition to the pancake coils usually delivered to customers, Waelzholz Tempracciaio also offers oscillated-wound coils. The advantage of these is that customers can process larger quantities without interrupting production with frequent coil changes. Rapid response times and the ability to supply small to medium-sized batches round out the range of services offered by our Italian location.
